This vintage necklace with its bright beaded flowers in orange and yellow is pure Sixties. The necklace is created from seed beads which the original artist created a beaded pattern of tiny flowers with contrasting centers. It features seven alternating sections of yellow flowers with orange centers followed by orange flowers with yellow centers. The necklace closure is a simple barrel shaped screw-on clasp.
This 1960’s flower child necklace measures 24 inches in length, and it is in excellent vintage condition. However, I must warn the prospective buyer of the possibility that wearing the necklace will cause you to start talking about Flower Power, buying old Joni Mitchell vinyl albums, saying “Far out!” and singing, “It is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius”. This bright necklace with its wonderful flowers is definitely worth the risk!
