Offered is a signed GNS&Co figural dog stickpin. George Steere pieces are highly collectible and have a loyal following. creations could be called Art Nouveau or Beaux Arts in style. He even used some hammered metal and bent metal techniques in the style of the Arts & Crafts movement. This piece dates to the late Victorian to Edwardian Eras.
In all my buying and selling of George Steere pieces, this is the first stick pin I've ever come across. And it's amazing that is it signed, the writing is so tiny you need a loupe to read it. The stickpin is signed GNS&Co. It is in very good vintage condition with some patina, no damage. The beautiful dog still has his tiny jeweled eye. This stickpin would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
