Offered is a rare and hard to find Homer Conant Marie Antoinette style powder jar. This lovely art deco lady is typical of a Homer Conant print .... notice the fingerless half gloves, the flowers in her hair and down the front of the dress. This beautiful porcelain dresser jar is not marked but is most likely German in origin. In all my collecting I have never run across this particular jar. She is a great cross over collectible for anyone collecting Homer Conant art, or Homer Conant Noritake lusterware.
This lovely dresser jar measures 7 1/2" tall and about 5" across. As to condition .... there is a tiny chip in front on the bottom half next to the left hand part of the black bow. Also, at some time the base has been broken and re-glued. Someone did a good job and this is not noticeable when the jar is displayed. I tried to show this in the photos. Since this is such a rare and hard to find jar, you may wish to have her professionally restored.
This is a great piece that embodies the art deco style of Homer Conant.
