Vezzani began his famous mono series of "muses" in 1998, when he obsessively depicted adolescent girls in Arcadian blue/grey landscapes symbolizing his quest for solitude and beauty. This work was created in 2005. He has exhibited extensively in Italy and is considered one of the classic contemporary masters.
