A teardrop simulated pearl dangles from the stem of this parasol and a round simulated pearl is the ball of the handle.
Victorian designed with ornate filigree, the scallops are beaded and painted with yellow enamel. There is beads painted green enamel that has an illusion of dangling.
This parasol is closed but the micro beading and detail are outstanding.
There is no metal wear as it does have an antiqued patina. The pin is slightly bowed and I am unsure if it is made this way to support the shape; it doesn’t look bent. The clasp is in excellent working condition. Both simulated pearls are free of peels, scratches, or dings.
