The design and workmanship of this dual purpose piece of fine costume jewelry is a definite royalty piece. It has a large oval simulated Pearl cabochon in the center. Surrounding the center is mill grain work in what appears to be a paisley pattern in an antique gold tone metal. In the center of the paisleys are Aurora Borealis crystals in hues of white, pink, blue, and green; all of these are soft colors. Below the center section is a row of oval shaped simulated Pearl cabochons in different sizes. This paisley pattern is a placed between the simulated Pearls with the exception of the top and bottom. The top is jeweled crown and the bottom has three clusters of the design. On the back, it has a large bale to accommodate a large chain, or wear as a brooch. This piece is in excellent condition; there are NO missing or replaced stones, no scratches on the simulated Pearl cabochons, and no discoloration or wear on the metal. It measures approximately 3” in length and 2” at widest point. The bale is a little over ¼” long and tall.
