23" Rare Earliest Mark Portrait Jumeau #4 Bebe, very pale mint early pressed bisque, blue almond shaped threaded paperweight eyes with early mauve blush under her brows with painted upper and lower lashes, antique curly blonde mohair wig and her original cork pate. She wears an antique maroon silk and lace Jumeau dress and her original two piece undie and camisole set and a fabulous French antique hat. She has great antique EJ Jumeau shoes with big rosettes. She is on her original early eight ball jointed straight wrist Portrait Jumeau body with the desirable large hands. She is a #4 which is extremely desirable and RARE. She is actually the first #4 I have ever had and I am in business over 30 years. They are very hard to come by because most collectors refuse to part with them, once they find one. They are owned by the most advanced collectors. They are almost never seen any more in this large size. She was a real find for me and I bought her from a private collector that is no longer with us. She is absolutely BREATHTAKING!!! She was manufactured by Emile Jumeau in Paris France ca. 1875. She is out of a none smoking home and her doll stand is included.
