Antique Doll Mirror with Oriental design. The back of the mirror is enamel and a very colorful design of two Oriental girls sitting on a wall in a flower garden with part of an Oriental home behind them. They are cheek to cheek. It is inlayed in a gold leaf setting. The other side is the mirror which is a perfect mirror and is also inlayed into the gold leaf setting. There is a half inch of gold leaf at the top of the jade handle, by the mirror, which is a very ornate design, as well as the gold leaf that goes around the circum. of the mirror. The handle itself is a beautiful genuine jade. I keep these mirrors all through my doll cases and on top of my doll furniture. This is out of my own collection as many of these other items on Ruby Lane. It measures 4.5" in total length, mirror is 2" in diameter. This is a great doll cabinet accessory. This particular mirror is very rare. I purchased it at a doll show about twenty five years ago. I assume it was made in Japan, but I am not certain. However, it is antique and from the late 1800's to early 1900's.
