This is a pair of French Antique Bebe Doll Shoes, they are Incised with the Man with the Cloak on the bottoms and are size #11. These are really in GREAT shape, I could call them MINT, but I don't like to say that about a pair of shoes from 1880. However, they are about as mint as they can possibly be. They are soft tan leather with ecru piping all around the top edges of the shoes and both have their original ecru bows adorning the top front, both original buttons, the ecru loops to close them are also both in tact. They are marked with the "Man with the Cloak" on the bottom and the size #11, They measure 3.5" in length by 1 1/2" in width. They have everything they were made with and look like new. Even the soles are clean and shiny. They just have one little dirt mark on the side of one shoe, non detracting and a tiny crimp in the piping of the other shoe, also non detracting. I only just noticed after all these years. These were used for both Jumeaux and Steiner's. and are appropriate for any type of doll you wish to complete with this beautiful pair of shoes. They are for approximately a 24" French doll, but can be used on a German doll, if you wish, just measure your doll's feet, because they are different than a Bebe. These are strong and clean and in unbelievable condition. They were manufactured in France in about 1880. FANTASTIC Antique Shoes!!!
