14 1/2" Early Portrait Jumeau
14 1/2" Early Second Series Portrait Jumeau Bebe, magnificent perfect pressed pale bisque, blue threaded paperweight eyes with painted upper and lower lashes and early mauve blushing under brows. She has her original blonde mohair wig and cork pate. She also still has her original head coil inside her head, shown in photos. This coil is how Jumeau attached their heads to their bodies in the factory. She wears her FACTORY original aqua wool and batiste dress with the original matching hat, original undies and original Portrait Jumeau shoes with rosettes that match her dress. She is on her original early eight ball straight wrist "signed" Jumeau body with the original finish. Her head is marked the number (5) on the lower neck (hard to photograph, but it is there). This is how the first and second series Portrait were marked. There are no hairlines, eye chips or any damage of any kind. Her expression has the essences of innocence. She was manufactured in 1878 in France by the Jumeau Factory. Her doll stand will be included. Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Only.....
