A stunning vintage American Cocktail Bracelet covered with sparkling Pink and Blue Rhinestones. Beautifully designed, this looks like it was made by one of the foremost Costume Jewelry companies of the time, but unfortunately, is not signed. The way that the rhinestones are set gives the appearance of flowers climbing a trellis. I bought this in the US some years ago.
In a rich gold tone metal, the Bracelet measures 1 1/8 inch wide, and when on, stands a good 5/8 inch above the wrist. The Bracelet measures 7 1/2 inches long, but because of the construction, will not fit a wrist of this size. For comfort, I would recommend this for someone with a wrist size no larger than 6 inches. My wrist is approximately 6 1/2 inches and while I can just about get it fastened, it is way too tight to wear. The Bracelet fastens with a v-spring box clasp, and also has a safety chain attached. The safety chain has a spring clasp so that when the bracelet is not being worn, it can be stored flat. Because of the way that the bracelet is designed, it is very flexible.
The Bracelet is in fabulous condition, the only sign of age being that the gold color plating has dulled very slightly on the back of the clasp - although my photos make the front of the clasp appear quite dull, it is bright and shiny. The prong set Rhinestones are all bright and sparkle gloriously - far better than my pictures show.
