A gorgeous Art Deco Necklace featuring yellow satin glass beads strung on a gold filled chain and with a heart shaped pendant drop set with a yellow satin glass cabochon which is surrounded by clear rhinestones. The pendant itself is in a brass color metal. The heart shaped glass cabochon appears to have some uranium in the glass as it turns to a lime green color and glows slightly under UV light.
The Necklace measures 20 inches long and fastens with a hook clasp so it can be worn at a shorter length if preferred. The smallest beads measure approximately 5mm in diameter and the largest measure 10mm in diameter. The Heart Pendant measures 1 1/8 inches across and 1 1/4 inches top to bottom.
The Necklace is in excellent condition - one of the small beads has a chip on it which with the naked eye looks like a slight discoloration to the glass. The bead is 3 inches from the end of the necklace so it would sit at the side of the neck towards the back. It is barely noticeable even when looking for it and the chances are that the damaged part of the bead would likely be sitting against the skin when worn so not visible at all - it certainly does not detract from the appearance of the necklace. Also, one of the smaller rhinestones at the edge of the pendant (next to the hanging ring) is slightly dull when viewed from certain angles, although again this is barely visible. The larger rhinestones sparkle beautifully, especially in dull lighting, and the sparkle adds a really special look to the pendant.
