Beautiful black velvet handbag - use as a purse or as a fold-over clutch with the chain handle inside.

The purse measures 10" x 9 1/2", and has a 12" gold-tone chain handle (6" drop). The black velvet is soft and in excellent condition. The gold-tone frame shows very slight wear on the outside, but there is a spot on the inside where it was probably closed on the chain handle.

The black taffeta lining has no tears or large stains, but there is a faint ring, which must have been from a compact. One can only see this when the purse is turned inside out. The tag inside reads "A Madison Creation".
