Porcelain trivet, 6 1/4"across. It has a raised rim with a beaded edge. There's a transfer picture with a trio of red and pink roses and a bunch of green grapes. There are four gold emblems as part of the decoration but these have faded. The underside has no markings, but the trivet is probably made in Germany, early 1900's.
There are several chips on the underside rim - they do not show and do not affect the balance. These old fashioned trivets are nice under a bottle of wine, as a small serving dish or to put under your potted plants. And you can also use them as trivets!
