EAPG fruit or dessert set, made by Bryce, circa 1880. The pattern is Willow Oak, sometimes known as wreath or acorn.
This set has been in the possession on one family for many years, and has been well preserved, though there are some small damages.
The large bowl is 8 1/4" in diameter and about 2 3/8" high. There are 2 very small nicks on the rim (well marked on the photos). The smaller bowls are 4" across and 2 1/2" high. Four of these are in excellent condition. One has a chip in the foot, the other has a tiny nick, more of a hairline, on the rim. Please see the photos, as all issues have been labeled,
This set looks good, and the small imperfections are hardly noticeable. It displays well, and could certainly be used for a special occasion.
Please be aware that EAPG generally has mold lines, straw marks and a few tiny bubbles.
As always, packed with care!
