Set of Five Silver Fruit Knives with Mother of Pearl Handles
Five fruit knives from about 1900. Each knife is 6 1/2" long and has a polished blade, mother of pearl handle and embossed sterling band. The blade and point are sharper than a dinner knife.
These would be fruit knives in a Victorian or early Edwardian table service, where fresh fruits and cheeses might be served as a last course. Today, you might use them on a buffet table with cheese or pate.
