Small china pottery open sugar with a pretty deco inspired floral border. This piece is typical of every-day tableware from the 1930's. It was The Depression, but ladies still liked to set a nice table! The dainty flowers are soft feminine pastels in an elegant framework.
The sugar bowl is 4 1/2" high and 2 1/4" across. There is allover light crazing and a pale hairline. About 90% of the gilt trim is intact. All sides of the bowl are shown in the photos.
Not just for sugar anymore, this will make a fine dish for berries, cereal or a floating blossom.
