Circa 1930 - 1935, a set of seven rimmed soup bowls, made by Taylor, Smith and Taylor china. This company was a favorite manufacturer of dinnerware in the early to mid 1900's. Their patterns from the 1930's usually feature cottage garden scenes and old fashioned flowers. It's difficult to assemble a full set of the older china, but the sweet floral patterns mix and match well.
Included here are 7 rimmed soup bowls, 7 3/4" across and about 1" high. They are decorated with daffodils and pink flowers, and finished with a metallic "platinum" colored rim.
The bowls have very light crazing. Three bowls have specks of the metallic paint on the underside, one bowl has a 3/4" faint hairline on the rim, as shown in the photos.
