Pretty cup and saucer with a design of tiny flowers. The cup is 3 3/4" wide and 2" high, the saucer is about 5 1/4".
This is German porcelain and dates from the early 1900's. Bavarian potteries of this era were well known for their quality ceramics and exported to the UK and USA. The sentimental flowers - tiny roses, forget-me-nots and violets are typical of 1920's and 1930's china.
Very good condition with slight wear to the flowers. The gold or gilt trim shows a bit of wear on the handle, but is in otherwise excellent condition.
