Cup and saucer in the distinctive Depression Glass pink color. Made by Cambridge Glass in the 1930's, the cup is 2-3/8" tall and 3-3/4" in diameter across the top. The handle adds another 3/4". The saucer measures 6" across and curves gently upward.
Cambridge Glass is considered "Elegant" rather than "Depression" glass. It is of a higher quality and was marketed to brides-to-be and to those of an above average income. This 10-sided deco-inspired Decagon pattern was produced in both plain and as a base for etched versions. The clean lines and elegant design make this a timeless piece.
