Upper Hanley flow blue platter in the Elgar pattern, made from about 1895 - 1910.
The platter is 15" x 12", dark blue on white with gold accents. I've included several closeups, so you can see just how lovely this pattern is, and to appreciate the skilled hand painting of the decorative elements. There is some wear to the gold edging on the outside rim, but most is still there.
The platter is in very good condition with no cracks or chips or hairlines. There is mild crazing in the center of the platter and a few very minor knife scratches from use. Far better condition than most platters of this age!
I have a few other pieces in this pattern. If you do not see them, just ask.
