Classic Coro, circa 1952. This silver-tone bow pin has a pierced design in the "ribbon" and a center jewel with a blue faux star sapphire surrounded by clear rhinestones.
Coro made several versions of this brooch - most were gold-tone, and a variety of center jewels were used. This is the rarer silver-tone version, and the only one I have seen with the blue center.
The measurements are 2 1/2" x 1 1/4". Condition is very good, with some minor "jewelry box jumble" scratches on the metal. The center sone is a semi-translucent blue lucite. All stones are shiny and damage-free. The pin has a safety clasp, which works well. Signed Coro on the reverse.
