Glamour Girl necklace, circa 1940! It was the end of the Great Depression, and all ladies wanted to look good! The shortest strand is 16" (as worn), the longest is 18". The beads are graduated and taper to a glamorous diamante pressure clasp. The color is a rich golden tan, or perhaps light cappuccino brown with a bit of glimmer.
The necklace is not without issues; a few of the pearl beads are peeling, especially near the clasp. The clasp shows some wear on the reverse, and a few of the rhinestones are darker than others. There is no problem with the stringing of the beads. This has been cleaned in a sonic bath, and is ready to wear and enjoy.
