Petite spoon charm - perhaps a snuff spoon, salt spoon or Welsh loving spoon. It is an unusual design, looking like a gourd or lucky bean with a fancy handle. It may have been meant as a charm, pendant or part of a chatelaine.
It is only 7/8" long, small enough to add to a sterling charm bracelet, especially if you collect older charms.
The hallmarks include the lion passant, the anchor for Birmingham and what appears to be a date letter for 1910. The maker is P&... the final letters are not decipherable.
