This striking amberina pitcher was produced by PhoenixGlass or possiblyHobbs Brockunier in the 1880's. The design is inverted thumbprint (ivt). It has a neatly polished pontil, trefoil spout and an amber applied reed handle.
The pitcher measures 8 1/4" x 5 1/2". There is a small flake chip on the inner surface of the spout, as clearly shown in the photos. There is a roughness, without fracture on the right side of the upper handle attachment.
We offer this pitcher at a discounted price - despite imperfections, it is a beautiful piece and displays well.
