True, we do not use bone dishes at the table anymore, but they are so useful for candy, trinkets or business cards. I use mine around round sink basins to hold pretty guest soaps.
This crescent shaped dish was hand painted in 1978 by "Sara" (see inscription on the bottom) and has colorful pansies. It is in perfect condition.
In the Victorian Language of Flowers, the pansy meant "Think of Me" (pansy is from the French 'pensee').
