This postcard is most unusual. The card is made of two layers. The top piece is heavily embossed, with raised bells, forget-me-nots, holly and lace. The tan background is velvety fake fur, which is slightly worn. The bells have gilt highlights.
Since the card has two layers, the embossing does not show on the reverse. No maker is marked, only "Made in Germany". It dates from the early 1900's. There is writing, but it has not been posted.
Please see the scans of both front and back.
