Old wooden drawer, probably saved from a hardware store. These make wonderful primitive display pieces. It can be turned on its side to showcase a collection of miniature items or fitted with a glass or plexiglass top to protect your collections.
The drawer is 10 1/4" long, 5" wide and 2 1/2" high. It is left as found - only a wipe down to remove dust, The front was once painted a very dark green and has a semi-legible label. There is a small porcelain knob, which has not been cleaned.
The sides have circular marks - I have no explanation for these. They look like router marks. The drawer dates from the 1920's and has spent much time in an old tool shop.
