Cream colored pie plate or serving dish, 8 7/8" across and about 1 1/2" high. It comes from rural Eastern Pennsylvania. This plate dates from the mid to late 1800's,and is not marked, which would be common practice among local potteries making utilitarian ware.
The plate is heavy ironstone, and is in very good vintage condition. There is light crazing, stilt marks and wear to the beaded edge, as shown in the photos.
We have another similar plate in a larger size and darker color. We are always happy to combine shipping.
