Cream or pale yellow colored pie plate or serving dish, 10 7/8" across and about 2" high. It comes from rural Eastern Pennsylvania. This plate dates from the mid to late 1800's,and is not marked, which would be common practice among local potteries making utilitarian ware.
The plate is heavy ironstone, and is in very good vintage condition. There is light crazing, stilt marks and a 1" hairline shown in the close up photos. There is very mild wear to the beaded edge.
We have another similar plate in a smaller size and lighter color. We are always happy to combine shipping.
