Large glass jar, 7" high and 6" across. It is squarish, with flattened sides. The upper rim has a decorative border - this may have had a lid, but there are no fittings or rim, so it may have been an open jar.
There are flea bites in the inner rim, but no other damages.
The jar was made by extruding molten glass into a mold. The are numerous tiny bubble inclusions. The pontil in the bottom is slightly off center, which is an indication of early manufacture.
There are no marks, but I believe this dates from the 1920's - 1930's.
Packed weight is 3 lbs.
