In our great-grandmother's day, many illnesses could be prevented by a good dose of Fletcher's Castoria, a laxative. It was manufactured from about 1879 - 1925. It was primarily marketed for children - my own grandmother seemed to believe that most childhood irritability and bad humor could be cured by a laxative, or at least a threat of one.
The bottle is 5 3/4" x 2" x 7/8". a pale blue-green. This can be inexpensively sent via 1st class mail.
