Old soda bottle from the late 1800's- early 1900's. It is greenish blue, with an applied lip. It has minor scratches and inside hazing. It is 9" long and 8" in circumference. The glass has internal bubbles. No name on the glass. The glass is thick, and the bottle is rather heavy as compared to a modern bottle of the same size

These old round ended bottles were called torpedo or cucumber bottles. The Torpedo bottles have a round end to prevent them from being stood up. The idea was that the soda kept in contact with the cork and stopped the cork from shrinking, in which case the soda would go flat. I
