Excellent China trade tablespoon in the more rare fiddle, thread, shell pattern. The pattern is double struck, meaning that it is both on the front and back of the spoon. It has a nice heavy feel to it and it is well constructed. The spoon is monogrammed with a gothic K and marked "KHC" along with three English pseudo hallmarks. The marks are for Khecheong who was working in Canton from approximately 1840-1870. The spoon is 8 1/2" long and weighs 3.1 ozt.
