Set of 4 China Trade (c. 1835) teaspoons in the Fiddle pattern, monogrammed with a P, all marked with a conjoined CU and three pseudo English hallmarks. Per several reference guides on Chinese export silver, the marks are likely the earlier marks for Cutshing (Canton, 2nd quarter 19th c). See Forbes and Chait book. Each teaspoon is 5 1/2" long and the total weight for the set is 3.3 ozt, meaning that they have good heft.
Very good condition, with clear monograms and marks.
