Here is a lovely Chinese export silver mustard pot, c. 1900. It is marked "TACKHING 90%SILVER" along with an unidentified Chinese character. Tackhing is not listed in any of my books on Chinese export silver, but he is listed online as working in Hong Kong in the late 19th/early 20th c.
The mustard pot is in a more traditional, English form and has lovely delicate legs, scalloped edge, hammered interior, and a handle that connects to the body in a long rat tail. In very good shape, with no dings or dents.
The pot weighs 1.4 troy ounces and measures 1 1/2"H x 3" X 1 3/4". It's ready for use or for your collection of Chinese export silver.
