Very well done Qianlong Chinese Export porcelain tea cup and saucer painted in nice polychrome enamels with lots of verte. This small tea cup and saucer feature a Chinese vase sitting atop an artemisia leaf. The artemisia leaf is an auspicious Chinese symbols which wards off sickness and has healing properties. It is also a symbol of felicity. This is an 18th c. cup and saucer, c. 1750
This cup and saucer is in excellent condition with no apparent cracks or chips. Very high quality painting with the enamels in tact. There is virtually no wear. The cup measures 1 1/2" tall by 2 3/4" in diameter. The saucer measures slightly less than 1" tall and approximately 4 1/2" in diameter. A wonderful example in outstanding condition!
