For the ultimate touch of class, this gorgeous 1950's Volupte Compact shows your exquisite attention to detail. This fine, rare gold-toned trimmed and stainless steel treasure is like no other in style and condition. Look closely at the pictures to see the fine detail. This is a premium, upscale compact. The swing bar is brilliant in clarity and in solid brass for a unique contrast, is even in color.
Flip the swing bar to see a mirror that is clean with only two slight dents from closing on the powder well latch. The back side of the mirror is clean as well. Open the front left compartment and there is the signed powder pad. On the right is the tissue well and it is flawless.
Just above the powder well is the solid brass lipstick and rouge well. The rouge well still has the original pad with tissue inside. It works perfectly and is mirror finished. Each of the compartment lids travel smoothly and shut cleanly with no looseness.
Made in the USA of mirror finished stainless steel, the coating has faded on the top and on the bottom and the stainless shines with just a touch of the coating still evident on the front and on the sides. This Volupte has solid feel and the finish is still truly remarkable.
The Black Faille carry case has a snap to keep the compact from slipping out. The carry case is clean and the strap still folds down on top. When you hold this fine Volupte, it has the feel of very high quality and will surely bring many compliments. You will be pleased to see it and own it. This Volupte is such a nice accessory and very impressive.
The dimensions of this Volupte are 5 ¼ "L x 3" H x ½ "D closed.
