Lift the flap to open and inside, it is lined in butter-soft Dark Brown glove leather with a zippered centre compartment. The front compartment is immaculate. Open the centre divider and it is also immaculate. The main compartment is flawless, as well. This is a very spacious Mark Cross and carry your essentials and far more in elegant style.

There is a zippered security pocket and directly below, in genuine Gold plating, is the Mark Cross authenticity badge. On the front inside of the first compartment, “Made in Italy” is embossed in leather.

On the outside, the handle is intact and shows no wear. This is a true valise handbag and although there are rings for a strap, this Mark Cross was ordered without the optional strap.

And that was a very good thing as the design of the pivoting rings, the strap clips would have damaged the leather and caused wear on the Gold-plated metalwork. All of which is mirror polished and like new as is this entire Mark Cross. This Mark Cross is designed to be carried on your arm and it can do it with ease.

There are no holes, ink, tears, or odours except, the smell of fine leather. It is in such splendid, like-new condition as it was meticulously cared for and it shows only the slightest signs of extremely gentle use. The piping is even which is noteworthy for a handbag of this vintage.

The attention to detail shows throughout. This is a purse you can feel comfortable wearing to business, travel, or to formal events and it is a statement. Not often do you ever see a Mark Cross of this vintage in such spectacular condition inside and out. And there is not one finer.
