This is the Dooney and Bourke All-Weather-Leather Small Backpack Model X192 BL. An extremely rare model, especially in the color of Black with Stainless Steel metalwork, that is now highly coveted and collectible. This beautiful and useful Dooney is from a private collection and it is pristine inside and out.
Slip the tongue from the loop to open and the smell of leather greets you. It is spotless clean inside and the suede is like velvet. There are three slip pockets with one having the White label registration and model numbers. The Red, White, and Blue authentication tag is torn, but all there with the numbers on the reverse, a genuine U.S. model.
Outside, the leathers are just spectacular. The British Tan trim has the Soft-White Topstitching that gives this Backpack so much character. As can be seen in the pictures, the straps, the trim, and all of the piping is clean with no wear.
The straps are clean with no darkening and has the Dooney Bourke stamped on all of the rivets. The straps, which have mirror polished leash clips, can be removed for cleaning and the pommels holding the straps also are gleaming brightly. On the back is a full-length slip pocket that has Dooney Duck just below.
The pristine, stainless steel Dooney Duck fob is present on the Black All Weather Leather tether.
