This charming puffy beaded treasure is one that was handmade in France in the mid to late nineteen-thirties. Resplendent in Black caviar beads in a wave pattern and adorned with Pink, Lavendar, Teal, Fuchsia, with clear, Amber seed, and caviar beads in a floral bouquet palette. The beads are tightly and perfectly arranged; the fabric backing cannot be seen at all.
The time it must have taken to complete such an intricate bag took many months, if not a year and the results are truly spectacular. What’s more is all of the beads are present. Seldom do you ever find one of these of this vintage so clean, and complete.
Open the gold-plated, artistically etched frame to see the shimmering Black silk lining with two slip pockets with one having a gusset to hold a compact. It is spotless clean and odor-free.
The beads are clean and show no discoloring. The mesh chain is intact and gleams brightly. Both sides have the floral arrangement with the back having the smaller palette.

The Condition of the item.
(Mint Condition) ---MINT -- Just like brand new. Virtually unused and shows no problems. Museum/Display quality.
(Pristine Condition) ---PRISTINE – May have only the faintest signs of proper use and extremely well cared for. Piping and trim is unmarked and may have patina, which all good quality leather will achieve over time. Suede is smooth and velvet-like.
(Excellent Condition) ---Normal wear expected for age. May have faint ink marks inside. May have a minor scuff, mark, or two. No major problems and are not easily visible.
(Good condition) ---Normal wear expected for age. May have slight darkening on the piping or on the bottom and strap. May have a stain, minor usage soiling inside or a mark. Shows very minimal wear.
(Good/Fair condition) ---A loved everyday purse that was not abused at all. Just used every day. May show more noticeable wear. May need a stitch or slight repair. Only special, collectables or something truly unique will be here in this condition.
(Good, Bad, and the Ugly) ---Will ride on into the sunset as I will not offer for sale a bag that is not fit to carry.
