From the moment you first see and feel the skin of this handbag, you will know that the skins were exceptionally well cared for and has that smooth, silky feel that only the best, genuine Lizard can give, a trademark of quality from Bellestone. At every angle, this Bellestone looks regal and it is luxurious. It is a circa 1953 model.
Open the knurled, gold-toned snap to see a clean, Beige interior. It is clean with no odors of age and no ink marks. The pockets are clean as well. The folds of the lining are intact with no splits or cracks. Only the minimal signs of gentle use on the outside of the pockets which is typical and of no significance.
On the outside, the reptile skin is shiny and is clean. The skin has just the right amount of give to let you know it is genuine. The Day-Sol frame works smoothly and closes fully. The single handle is supple with no issues.
Bellestone is well known for the quality of the skins and the highly polished treatment like no other. The skin is stunning all over. This Bellestone shines beautifully from top to bottom and it rests on four solid brass feet. Not often do you ever see one of these in such splendid condition as this. The gussets on the sides are superb. The edges are clean and smooth and the shine will make you smile.
