Truly a charming little evening bag, this framed, floral petit-point is one that will serve you beautifully at any event. A rare one-sided petit-point, it is of the high quality seen from petit-points from France, Belgium, and Italy. Having 40 stitches per inch and 1200 stitches per square inch in a floral bouquet, it is adorned with beautiful etched inlays on the frame. From a private collection, it is pristine.
The colors of the stitches are Red, Black, White, Green, Dark Green, Yellow, Orange, and Cobalt all on a Black fabric background. Arranged in a table bouquet bordered by flowers, it is a treat to the eyes.
Open the kiss snaps to see the clean, Black fabric lining. There is a single pocket inside. There is no tag however, the quality of the stitching shows that it is a quality petit-point. It has no odors and no stains. The goldtone frame has Black inlays that are etched in nice pattern. The two position chain is perfect with no kinks and allows you to either hand-carry or through the arm.
The frame works perfectly and there are no loose stitches anywhere. It is a nice petit-point that will be a final touch to your attire.
It measures in at 7 ½”L x 6”L x 1“D and the chain has a 6” to 10 ¾ “drop.

The Condition of the item.
(Mint Condition) ---MINT -- Just like brand new. Virtually unused and shows no problems. Museum/Display quality.
(Pristine Condition) ---PRISTINE – May have only the faintest signs of proper use and extremely well cared for. Piping and trim is unmarked and may have patina, which all good quality leather will achieve over time. Suede is smooth and velvet-like.
(Excellent Condition) ---Normal wear expected for age. May have faint ink marks inside. May have a minor scuff, mark, or two. No major problems and are not easily visible.
(Good condition) ---Normal wear expected for age. May have slight darkening on the piping or on the bottom and strap. May have a stain, minor usage soiling inside or a mark. Shows very minimal wear.
(Good/Fair condition) ---A loved everyday purse that was not abused at all. Just used every day. May show more noticeable wear. May need a stitch or slight repair. Only special, collectables or something truly unique will be here in this condition.
(Good, Bad, and the Ugly) ---Will ride on into the sunset as I will not offer for sale a bag that is not fit to carry.
