We felt extremely fortunate to find this early Mac-Beth Evans mustard jar with the original spoon. Every dish of this type we have ever had, never contained the original spoon/stick. Most often, the spoons were broken or lost and rarely made it over the 70-80 year span intact.
This is the Petalware pattern from Mac-Beth Evans. this particular color was only made by the manufacturer in the following designs: a 9" bowl, a 4 1/2" creamer, a sugar and creamer set, and the mustard or condiment jar. So this is a wonderful find!
The jar measures 3" tall, with the bowl being 2 3/4" in diameter. The attached base measures 4 1/2" in diameter. That amazing spoon or stick that has survived miraculously through all of these years measures 4" long.
This set is in MINT condition, with no cracks, chips, flakes, or flea bites. Came form a collector of fine glassware that was extremely well taken care of.
