Dalsheim is a trademark on costume jewelry by Dalsheim Accessories, Inc., of New York. The company was founded by Maurice Dalsheim. These relatively rare marks were first used in 1939. We know that this set is prior to 1955 because no copyright symbol was used with the trademark before that time. Dalsheim advertisements appeared in popular magazines including Vogue in 1958. Dalsheim ceased operations around that time.
This lovely parure is a recent estate acquisition and features a choker, double strand wrapped cuff bracelet and clip back button earrings. The transparent faceted Lucite beads on the choker and bracelet are oval in shape and separated with tiny clear seed beads. The choker is 16" long fully extended and there is a hook and chain for adjustment. The wrapped cuff bracelet is 1" wide and opens at the back to fit all size wrists.
The button earrings in faceted transparent Lucite are 3/4" wide and the backs are Rhodium Plated.
All pieces are in excellent Circa 1940s condition. The Aquamarine colored beads are more prevalent on the bracelet than on the necklace.
All jewelry arrives gift boxed.
