This is a beautiful casserole by Homer Laughlin in the Virginia Rose shape with the Wild Rose pattern. It was recently acquired from a Southern estate. It is hallmarked on the bottom and is dated 1952. The casserole stands 6" tall to the top of the cover finial. It is 11" x 6 1/2" including the handles. It has one tiny nick underneath the cover that does not show through to the top. The platinum trim is in very good condition with minimal wear. The book price on this piece is $135. Overall, this vintage casserole is in wonderful condition and a hard-to-find piece!
