This American eagle is resplendent in solid brass with fine detailing, even on the back. It has good heft so that it doubles as a paperweight to keep the paper pile under control.
The opener measures just under 8 inches long. It's 4 inches across the wings. It's marked ISRAEL. This not a newer wimpy opener...this one weighs 125 grams.
We've left the brass patina unpolished but you can put a bright shine on it if you choose. Excellent vintage condition. Circa 1960s.
