They can be sweet or they can be salty. These six beautiful old miniature Japanese sterling silver spoons are the perfect size for scooping a little sugar into your green tea (or coffee) or a bit of salt into your rice bowl.
These demitasse spoons measure 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 inches long. The bowls are shaped like lotus blossoms. The handles resemble bamboo and each spoon is topped with a finial that relates to Japanese culture. There's a fan, a Buddha, a Pagoda, a bucket and two other architectural shapes.
The spoons come in their original box (shows a bit of wear). The spoons are marked STERLING 950. They haven't been polished and they appear to be in unused condition. No monograms. Circa 1930s to 1950s.
The lot of spoons weigh 23 grams. They're in excellent vintage condition.
