This early solid sterling silver Mexican charm bracelet goes all in with big oversized charms that reflect Mexican culture.
Seven figural charms include a sombrero, two pitchers, the Aztec calendar, a bell with clapper that claps, a sandal shoe, and a fire pit.
The long slide-in clasp closes securely. It's marked with pre-Eagle hallmarks...maker's name MAR - HECHO EN MEXICO - 925.
The chunky link bracelet measures 7 inches long. It's about 1 1/2 inches wide at the biggest charm. The bracelet weighs 70 grams.
Each charm is wonderfully detailed....etched and a true miniature figural. We can tell that this was recently polished. Because of its age, it was probably very tarnished and previous owner thought it would look better like this. It does but we usually leave it to buyer to decide on the patina. Excellent vintage condition with all charms intact. If you're going to wear a charm bracelet, make it a great big festive Mexican beauty like this one. Circa 1950s.
