This old miniature hand mirror pendant is spun out of sterling silver wire into a fanciful filigree pattern.
The back of the mirror is jeweled with what looks like genuine jade stones though they may be glass. The little mirror is set in a twisting wave of sterling wire work and the long handle is an open ribbon of silver.
The mirror measures 1 7/8 inches across by 4 1/4 inches long. It weighs 24 grams. The silver has an aged patina...looks like it's never been polished which adds to its look of antiquity.
The open end of the handle lends itself perfectly for adding a chain and wearing this as a beautiful unusual pendant...one you can always use to reapply your lipstick or check for spinach on your teeth. Excellent vintage condition. Circa 1910.
